And what exactly is this """security issue specific to autolog blablabla""" Before you say you cannot reveal the technical specifications of the "security issue" because it may leave EA open to technical exploits or vulnerabilities in their system, let me remind you that solving those "security issues" is exactly what EA sites (boldface lies to us imo) as the reason for the game not working properly.
Why have you not addressed the people on here asking about a refund for the faulty product? I am, as I'm sure the rest of us gamers are as well, totally down for partial compensation; give us a coupon code that we can use towards any EA product of our choosing for the console of our choice.
Also, why is this BS about ""security issues"" the "Accepted Answer" Let me guess, EA_Tom, YOU decided that was good enough for us, am I right? Thanks!!!
You know, I was looking forward to NFS on PS4 once I buy the system but, really, it's worth it to take action against Electronic Arts when this is how they deign to treat us. I'm with the rest of them here(and in many other circles I've noticed) that have decided to stop purchasing EA products all together.
I will be going on Facebook and joining any groups I can find that are anti-EA. It will take a couple hours but, compared to the hundreds of hours me and MANY gamers like me have spent on NFS:TR, what's a couple more? And besides, everyone knows that once you join a group on FB, similar groups are suggested to you one after another for as long as you care to click "join" . I think I'll post a screenshot of the "Accepted Solution" that EA_Tom has posted and get the word out there more than it is now even, on just how EA chooses to handle issues their customers bring to them. If you're reading this, you should do the same; don't sit there and tell yourself, good, I'm glad he's going to do that, I'm glad something is going to be started and pushed about this. Don't tell yourself it's okay if you, THE GAMER THAT IS BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY ELECTRONIC ARTS, don't participate actively by doing the same as the rest of us will because there's already going to be so many that do this, what difference would you make anyways. EVERY ONE OF US make the difference in something like this. Any movement or change that happens or has happened in human history begins with ONE PERSON. The second person makes the idea twice as loud. The fourth person makes it twice as loud again, and so on; be part of this idea. Stand and be heard. Don't stand idly by as you and your friends are robbed of your money and told you must accept this because everyone else does.
We all know that companies like EA are ruled and run by the almighty dollar and everything else is secondary to that. If enough bad publicity is made for EA then you can be certain they will come up with a solution to these """""""security issues"""""" or whatever they feel like calling their greed.
EA's position is clearly "F them" ...well, F you too EA. We've all had it with the attitude of "they already bought the game right? then who cares what their problems are" from you and the gaming industry too. It's time for change.
EA_Tom, I know that at the end of the day, if you really are a gamer, you are in agreeance with most everything, and definitely the point I'm making overall here. If that's the case, I won't ask you to do something as foolish as openly criticizing your employer -you'll just be fired and replaced for 'poor performance' or something like that. Nothing stops you from saying/posting/doing whatever you would like to under a different (albeit very similar would be cool) name or profile.
PS: I'm pretty sure it is unlawful to sell a product of this nature under false pretenses. I will be looking into this to the extent I'm able. I'm not a lawyer. I am however a quick study and, not unfamiliar with law in the USA.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. WE ALL AGREE ON THAT. SO DON'T BE ACCEPTING OF IT! STAND UP FOR YOURSELVES!!
