I was just wondering who prefers Automatic more than Manual when racing in NFS?
As for myself, I have always liked Automatic as the launch at the start seems faster to me.
However, those who I have raced in the past that had Manual set sometimes caught up fast as the race progressed.
I realize shifting sometimes is the better option...but name your personal preference when racing.
I look to everyone being involved in this topic.

If I just want to chill and drive around I'm going for the automatic one. But when I'm hardcore racing definitely manual.
Manual without a doubt.
I just love the feel of having that extra bit of control and "connection" to my car, and shifting when i want is also a better way to use all the power that the car has and the most enjoyable way to do such.
I do both. With manual you can get a little extra speed out of the car per gear because you shift yourself compared to auto which does it for you and sometimes it shifts too early so you are not getting the full speed out of the gear. Good question though. I would love to see other responses.
