I have the same problem, but with every single gear.
The gears only accelerate up to 4000 rpm and the shift up. On bumpy roads, or as soon as my car lifts a bit it shifts up to the next gear until its in last gear. my 399 cars cant compete in 180 races... that must be a joke.
I tried everything, changing the live tuning (even leaving it stock). I also bought a new car and tried it stock, didnt work. But everytime I changed something in the live tuning my car shifted down in the correct gear and with the next shift it didnt work again.
NOS does help getting into 4th gear normally, but thats useless too.
I really would appreciate if this would be fixed with the next patch. I never had this problem in NFS 2015.
