That is really what they said? I got to read that story. That sounds like the most asinine thing I have ever heard a manufacturer say. Toyota is suffering due to their own being. They can't seem to make good looking cars and they are getting a lot of backlash for the supposed new "Supra" coming out. They started going down once they got rid of Scion.
@XGCSith Can't confirm it 100% and I don't have any source, but a german NFS youtuber said that. He also said that has to be the worst business strategy ever 😛
I'm sorry (I'm Canadian I can't help it) but I believe a German youtuber about as much as ... well I don't believe the German youtuber.
- @NathanLoiselle what does this have to do with being german? Anyways, it could be possible. He said that Toyota thinks that todays car games are too realistic, that's why nobody is gonna buy a Toyota irl.
It's a better descriptor than simply 'youtuber'. I suppose I could have put in the poster's name as in 'bobby's german youtuber' but I didn't. Anyways. Thinking that Toyota thinks video games will detract from sales belongs in the "I'm an idiot" section of the internet. But let the crazy youtuber think it.
