Yes, the computer has introduced AI opponents. I encountered Mikey several times. He is in an "untuned" McLaren 650. I am running a tuned McLaren 650. I have perfect launches, and somehow his is faster, his boost lasts longer, and he blows my doors away. I can never beat him, and it's never close.
That is why I am now simply doing 5 races per day to get the gold and the first tier bonus. That's it. And frankly, with this latest screw-up, I'm on the verge of deleting the game off my phone.
