is anyone else having trouble with these races? i seem to have lost just as many as ive won and more often than not if you "just" win a race you gain less points than you lose if you "just" lose a ra...

@TheRealJony Finally icon 3! I'l leave you and god king in each others company, since i have been making too many pin ball errors today.
@jin1995x Dem "Tuned" Koenigsegg CCXs... 😬
I used to have a really high SP score two days ago. Then things went south when people "Tuned" their Koenigsegg CCXs on the last day of Season 1.
I frequently got match-maked with a "Tuned" Koenigsegg CCX on the last day that my SP score was completely destroyed after losing to those "Tuned" Koenigsegg CCXs.
I don't have to explain how "Tuning" a car makes a BIG difference between winning or losing.
Do I...? 😛
My Ferrari LaFerrari doesn't have all stars, so I'm unable to "Tune" to my advantage.
I lost a bunch of SP after losing to people with a "Tuned" Koenigsegg CCX" and who were high on the leaderboard.
Some changes that happened, happening right now, or will be happening:
I don't have as much free time as before when I'm working all day with 2 jobs. That's why my activity here in NFS No Limits Answer HQ is low.
I'm changing from playing No Limits hardcore to playing No Limits casually as my priority is my 2 jobs.
I'll be out of Blackridge Rivals spotlight (which is Top 200 leaderboard) for a while, but I'll be doing something different in Season 2 (and the next seasons until further notice).
I'll be using underdog cars (like Lamborghini Aventador or Pagani Huayra) to challenge myself in Blackridge Rivals and see how far I can go with them.
I do have the energy to race hardcore in Blackridge Rivals, but I just don't the time to race hardcore in Blackridge Rivals. So that is why I'm setting this challenge of using underdog cars in Blackridge Rivals for myself.

Well most guys on tuning are noobs,it shouldn't have been that much of a prob. but i agree 7 star laf isn't going to cut it with so many skilled ccx drivers .i barely used tuning , since any one driving a stock ccx perfectly, can manage better times than with tuning, which sometimes goes waste if you don't drive perfectly. Unless of course the person has mastered tunig.
@jin1995x I apologize for my late reply. All I've been doing is work, work, work, work, work. (Referencing Rihanna's Work song XD )
That is true. I've won races against tuned Koenigsegg CCXs a lot in Season 1 (and Season 2) because either they didn't tune their car enough or they made mistakes.
However, the problem was being match-maked against a high-ranked player with a tuned Koenigsegg CCX who knows what they're doing. (And this mostly happens when I have about the same amount of SP as those high-ranked tuned Koenigsegg CCX players)
I know what I'm doing.
They know what they're doing.
I'm driving an untuned Ferrari LaFerrari.
They're driving a tuned Koenigsegg CCX.
Race starts and I'm behind their butts for the whole race and losing the race by just milliseconds to one second. No mistakes made by me and my opponents.
I lose 30 SP.
Then I have to regain the same amount of SP again until I get match-maked with a high-ranked player with a tuned Koenigsegg CCX once again and lose 30 SP again.
Repeat and repeat.
Tuning can be an advantage if done right and high-ranked players definitely are taking advantage of tuning.
It's only a matter of time when I can experience tuning for myself... 😕

I had starfish and nanofaces both beaten. But they were avid tuning enthusiasts . I could beat em without it.
I never raced Starfish before yet, but I raced NanoFaces quite a few times and lost in every single one of them.
I think you may have gotten one of NanoFaces' worst runs. Who knows...? lol
And congrats!

Goodluck for the next sasons!
Thanks! You too!
As you can see from my screenshot below, it's pretty obvious I'm driving my Ferrari LaFerrari and not my Pagani Huayra. 😃
However, the reason why I'm driving my Ferrari LaFerrari was I wanted to race on the new Novato Bay tracks that were implemented in Blackridge Rivals. So I took my Ferrari LaFerrari for a spin and started winning (and losing) in Blackridge Rivals.
Funny thing is I needed to drive my Ferrari LaFerrari to win against "generic" Trippa whenever I get match-maked with that AI. I wouldn't stand a chance against that AI with my underwhelming Pagani Huayra which lacks a lot of upgrades.
Oh, and I watched Kanan's video of me.
Great video, but I hate the game for giving him one of my worst runs in Heatseeker Rush when I did so many runs that I finished within 28 seconds. Out of all of my runs, why one of my worst runs...?
Oh well.
It's good to see the NFS No Limits Reddit community knows what I'm capable of and knows I'm one of the legit top drivers in Blackridge Rivals. 🙂
I've been in gaming videos on YouTube before. Kanan's video isn't the only gaming video I'm in.
Here's a NFS World gaming video that I'm in (and obviously losing): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwJdhxS05Qk&t=7s
This is what I see from all of the posts and comments about Blackridge Rivals:
If a player wins races there, then Blackridge Rivals is fun.
If a player loses races there, then Blackridge Rivals sucks.
Honestly, this is just what I see from these. More on the "sucks" side than the "fun" side though.

@TheRealJony well i had nano again this season on vice force i had a 39.xx time untuned he was in 40.xx. .
@jin1995x Wow!
I raced NanoFaces again and I also raced StarFish, but I lost to both of them. Their cars were Tuned while my Ferrari LaFerrari was untuned as usual.
Well, I think it comes down to these two possibilities:
1. You're a better racer than I am
(This is bad for me when I've been playing No Limits from the very beginning)
2. My Ferrari LaFerrari's top speed disadvantage
I only have issues with players that have Tuned cars and know what they're doing. Other than that, I would have a pretty huge winning streak.

As for Kanan's vid, well he's just uploaded that since he got that ghost. Had he got a better one he'd upload that one, though no one's more consistent than him on heatseeker, his average time there is 28.5 or so.
He keeps making vids every now and then you'd have seen, the number of link's he's posted.
I've seen all of his videos up to the video that I'm in so far.
And you're right. He is quite talented.
Maybe I can be featured in another one of his videos. I do enjoy watching myself race. lol

Also yes its funny hiw the game gives out bad ghosts, i have had 29.07 untuned and numerous 29.xx's on sparkwall rush on the same day, yet the game gives out 31.xx ghost of mine. It's too annoying lol. Especially wheb you had better races on the same day
I got one of your worse runs on Sparkwall Rush. Your time was 30 something seconds. lol
And of course, I won that race.
These bad runs can definitely give the impression that we're "Leaderboard wannabes" when we're really not. 😞
@jin1995x wrote:
yeah good job with the 5584 i wonder who's this new arkc guy who popped up overnight.
I think that guy just had lucky races that featured worse runs with top players and won them. That probably explains why they risen to the top of the leaderboard so quick.
However, the guy probably kept losing races that featured best runs with low-SP players later on and suddenly disappeared from the leaderboard.
This is an example of a "Leaderboard wannabe". 😛
Yea...I don't call a player a cheater until I actually race them. 😉
@jin1995x wrote:
it seems you really love being called a top racer lol.
Of course!
I want to show the world what I'm made of. 👿
@jin1995x wrote:
but i think you are rather more famous as the guy who held the first spot in preseason for long. That's how most people have read your name, and that is why there was a hype around you which is why you are now proud that people finally know you're legit lolol.
I totally see why I'm more famous for holding the #1 spot in Preseason the longest. I think I held it for about a month or so.
Until I got rusty and lost races near the end of the Preseason. Ugh.
Not one of my best moments.
Well, I'm living up to my fame from Preseason in Season 2. Me and Inline X are head-to-head for the #1 spot on the leaderboard right now. lol
However, there were obstacles in the way.
I had been match-maked with a cheater that finished Vice-Force Run (featuring Blackridge Strip in the day) at 21 seconds. Had 48 SP deducted.
Oh, and can you thank sChleMMeR82 for decreasing 35 SP from me? Thanks.
I got match-maked to race his tuned Koenigsegg CCX on Vice-Force Run (featuring Blackridge Strip in the day) and lost by a few milliseconds.
As from yesterday, I've been pressuring Inline X to continue racing when I'm right behind their butt on the leaderboard. Patiently waiting for them to mess up and drop on the leaderboard (happened once already).
By the way, I did all of this with my 7-Star Ferrari LaFerrari.
I didn't buy any crates from Holiday Season crates.
Reasons are:
1. Not enough Gold
2. Not interested in buying them anyways

This game mode sucks. I lose koenigsegg with 1040+ points to a viper or mclaren with no mistakes. And then their time is better than my best?????? impossible. Firemonkey and ea i am not spending any more money to such stupid game. Go to hell
@luksy82 All I'll say is this...
Improve.
Here's some tips:
1. Use nitrous strategically
2. Avoid hitting anything (only hit stuff if you have to)
3. Keep your speed high
4. Always get Perfect Launch
All you need to do is improve and you can possibly be on the Top 200 leaderboard in Blackridge Rivals.
