Blackrige Rivals Opponents Cheat?

This is expected behavior. Opponent also would have raced in the same traffic, earlier. But traffic positions can change slightly from time to time. The cop car blockade positions would remain constant though. I have similarly seen the opponents ghost car crash crash after seemingly hitting something where nothing existed. This is because during the ghost car's original run, there was traffic at that position.

No. Opponent does not get a clear road.

Just as you can sometimes see the opponent pass through a car he does not have there, you can sometimes see him crashing in mid air, while hitting a car you see elsewhere :-)
