The P60B40 Engine isn't in the game it is just a regular 4,0l V8 Engine ingame, NO modification whatsoever.
It is shown in stock because you are allowed to upgrade the engine itself with ultimate (+) parts or swap the engine
with a V6, V8, V10, V12 at the end it will be over 1000 HP which is in real life mindblown since I've never seen a
1000HP M3 E46 GTR in real life.
BTW: There is a 4,0l V8 Engine with 545HP (Pro+ parts I guess) I think if you gonna swap the regular one.
- 345HP is the power of street version E46 GTR,also they use HP figure but list with PS unit,so even with correct number it's still flawed
Technically it has:
The incorrect hp - correct hp already mentioned
The incorrect max rpm - 8,500
The incorrect Sound =,= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-tuGOb0p0s
The Incorrect handling - lacks grip when compared to MW 2005
If you're going to put a M3 GTR Race Car in the game..., I won't bother finishing the sentence.
Even more so, when it's listed as the M3 GTR from Most Wanted 2005, which back then, the actual GTR Race Car was used with the 444 hp motor.
- @ZeroMcDol The problem with these character cars all share a big mistake-use game release year as model year-M3 GTR is listed as 2006 for Carbon was launched in 2006 but M3 GTR E46 race car was a 2001 only
I've never noticed this before. But then again I typically ignore small details like that in games because it really isn't game breaking at all. However I will say that yes the M3 GTR does have a 444 HP V8 in real life. So definitely this should be corrected. Hopefully the Devs take a look into this because I absolutely love this car.
Cheers!

To my knowledge the E46 M3 GTR came in 2 versions. First introduced in 2001, and rebuilt in 2004 or 2005 (I don't remember the exact year). The 2001 was initially banned, due to it not meeting the regulations for Motorsport at the time, hence the 2004 or 2005 rebuild.
That's the story that I've heard at least. Also, as far as I know, the M3 GTR in Most Wanted 2005 was based on the 2004 - 2005 version.
- Schnitzer Motorsport did recycle 2001 M3 GTR for 2004-2005 season, but the car remain mostly same as 2001 BMW Motorsport team car,so it's still a 2001 car used in 2004-05 season.BMW Motorsport M3 GTR was banned for 2002 onward season for the lack of enough road going version(which Porsche objected and got the champion for)The 2004-05 version was the car you stated yet the livery of MW05 M3 GTR was based on 2001 BMW Motorsport livery so I think it's still a 2001 car.
Ah, so that's what happened. I learned bits and pieces, but never knew the whole story. Thanks for letting me know.

The sound is correct.
On that video and in MW the car has in-car recorded sound, while in Heat its from the outside.
