Bought car. No car..no money.

I just bought a car and while it was loading the new car it said "connection lost" and booted me to the opening menu. I reloaded the game and the new car is not in my garage but the money is gone. I've restarted the game and my console but still no car or money..can this be fixed? I read that EA stores game play so there should be a record of the purchase or the magical disappearance of my money.
