Bring Back NFS the Run — We Need NFS: The Run 2

Dear EA & Criterion Games,

I'm a long-time fan of the Need for Speed franchise, and one game that stood out as a truly unique and cinematic experience was Need for Speed: The Run. The combination of intense cross-country races, real cars, dramatic storytelling, and breathtaking environments created something unforgettable. To this day, many fans remember the game fondly and wish for a sequel.

At the end of the game, sam says : "if your interested in doubling down, I just got call", so it can be a reason why it needs sequel

One aspect that especially impressed me was the quality of the character models and animations. For a racing game, The Run delivered surprisingly high production values in terms of cinematic presentation and believable characters. It made the story more engaging and the experience more immersive.

With today’s technology and the power of next-gen consoles, the potential for The Run 2 is massive. Imagine an even larger and more dynamic U.S. map, more player freedom, deeper story elements, and modern graphics — it could be a masterpiece.

We also hope that if a sequel is ever planned, it is given the proper time and resources it deserves. Rushed development can limit the creative potential of such a unique concept. The Run 2 deserves to be a polished, complete experience that builds upon the original’s vision without compromise.

Additionally, we hope the game remains focused on thrilling racing, cinematic action, and immersive storytelling that prioritizes gameplay and player enjoyment. Staying true to the franchise’s roots will ensure that both longtime fans and new players can fully enjoy the experience.

Please consider bringing The Run 2 to life. The fans are still here. We're ready to hit the road again.
