can i play NFS heat without internet

hello i'm going on a military deployment and I was curious if i can play NFS Heat on PC through STEAM offline for 6 months.

I won't have intternet as i will be on the USN vessel and would still like to play NFS heat is there a requirement ot be connected every so often or can i play the game without being connected to the internet for 6 months ty
