I have had the error a few times as well. I haven't been able to correct it and as of late it hasn't happened. I have read other posts on different forms and all i have been able to see thus far that it isn't related to NFS 2016 only. Some have had the exact issue on Battlefront 1 or other Frostbite engine games. I am unsure if it is a game engine related issue or something else but it is odd that other Origin / frostbite games have had this issue. Dont automatically assume it is i m just saying this is what i have seen in my search to correct this. It isn't much help but it is a place to start. I had found some recommendations on different forums .example like this.

* deal my friend. I know how you feel. I played Battlefield four maxed with 105% scaling and a mild reshade preset for 3 hrs straight just an hour ago .I wanted to see if another frostbite engine game stressed would give me the same error or crash as bad as NFS 2016 does. Nope! ...BF4 ran like dream the whole time so from where im sitting its sure seems like NFS 2016 has become more and more broken. ☹️
same here BF4 on high settings and NFS suck cuz they cant optimize it for old AMD drivers without reason
Sadly NFS 2016 has been giving me even more headaches as of late. It is constantly crashing and even giving me BSOD. I have taken a break from it to move on to other games in my collection.
