Cannot connect to EA Servers

@Straatford87

I bought the game yesterday and I cannot play the game. I started the game and played for half an hour and tried switching to Play Alone Mode and now it cannot connect to the EA Servers. All it show is that "You have lost connection to the EA Servers." What do I do now? .HELP PLEASE! I have looked up all there is on the Communities and Forums and from Google too but in vain. What do I do? Please tell me there is a fix to this?

    Hi,

    First make sure that you restart your router and system. Then try connecting to the game via a wired ethernet cable.

    If the issue persists then make sure that the following ports are allowed on your network:

    • TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
    • UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900

    It is important that you check both any anti-virus, anti-malware and firewall programs on your system. Make sure to also check the firewall and settings on your router; a firewall should be disabled and the best setting for gaming would be to enable UPnP.

    Further tips are available in the following two articles:

    And lastly, since Need for Speed requires a persistent internet connection--even in solo mode--it is important that you make sure that your network connection is optimal.
