Can't see my ea friendlist

I'm on xbox and my friend is on ps4. But I saw I wasnt the only one with that problem and nobody seems to know what's going on.

Can you both check your EA Accounts and have your friend check their EA account's privacy settings to confirm if anything is disabled?

i know this is an old thread but maybe someone else finds this helpful:

I bought Heat on PC -> Steam and have had troubles with the friends lists (both "Friends" and "EA friends") and friends who were online stayed offline and couldn't be invited

what did the trick for me:

start steam

manually start the EA app

launch game via EA (not steam)

-> everything worked for me
