Can't take screenshots to save for myself (PC Windows 10)

For some reason i cannot take a screenshot of the game. When i try to all i get is a black rectangle. Tried using default windows method of using 'prnt scrn' button and pasting it in paint, but to no...

I am not sure what you mean with getting a black rectangle? I cannot ask for a screenshot either, for obvious reasons.. ☹️

Several things you could try:

  • Right-click Need for Speed in Origin and select Repair Game
  • Bind the Take Snapshot button to another key

Could you let me know if that got it working for you?

    Hi there, sorry for the late reply, had to go out of town for a few days.

    I tried repairing the game but it didn't work and even now when I connect the laptop to a TV via an HDMI, either the game crashes/PC freezes or nothing is visible on the TV.

    Can someone somehow resolve this issue, and is there anyone with the same issue?

    By a black rectangle I mean a literal black rectangle when i press the screenshot key and pasted the image in paint. Tried a third party screenshot utility and binded another key for screenshot, but nothing worked. 

    Any solution?

    EDIT: I tried using a different HDMI cable but it still didn't work. And my laptop port isn't faulty as i can view other programs on the TV.
