Can't turn off the music on Need For Speed ProStreet bug

I found a bug on NFS ProStreet wich can't allow me to turn off the music, i tried turning of the EA trax and the volume, but the only way to turn off the music it's to turning off all the sounds (voices, car effects, everything) and it's really frustrating because i want to listen to my own music while playing the game and it can't stop playing the music
