I don't see why so many people complain about the loot crates when they don't even have performance parts in them. As far as the performance customization goes, I do not like it either. I feel that they should've kept the same thing they had in 2015. I hope they change it. As far as that goes, I am going to keep playing it. Also, its not greed. Games cost a lot to make. With the increase in cost, the games stay the same price. The gaming industry is just that, an industry. If a company can't make money (which it seems everyone is against) how do you expect the to keep a float? The micro-transactions gives them another revenue source. Its basic economics here.

Asking almost 90 euro's for the delux version of this game more than covers the cost of making it I am sure. The games are already expensive enough without micro transactions and loot crates.
It must cost a lot of cash to have to hurridly fix the games after release because so often they don't work properly ? Adding steering wheel support during development would be so much cheaper than having to do it in a hurry after the game is released. It does look pretty incompotent not putting wheel support in a racing game, especially because ea/ghost were forced to add it hurrridly to nfs 2015 after release to try to avert the bad press and the moaning about it.
Ea /ghost should stop making stupid incompotent mistakes that cost a fortune to try and fix, then they can afford to drop the micro transactions and the loot crates and stop ripping off the customers with poorley made games that should have been the best on the market. - XGCSith8 years agoSeasoned AceThis isn't a Call of Duty or GTA game. Need for Speed doesn't bring in as much money as those games. $60 and $80 does not make up for a high budget game. If you think it does, you are sadly mistaken. Would it have been cheaper to add steering wheel during development? Maybe, again, its a arcade racing game that is very aracde like, I doubt a racing wheel would make it feel immersive. Wheel support in a game like this is not worth it.

Steering wheel support was important enough to ea/ghost to add it hurridly to nfs 2015 at great cost to the company. No it is not essential to add it to racing games , but very desirable. to a lot of customers, I dont even have a steering wheel myself but a lot of people do.

I used live at the seaside next door to an amusement arcade, it was easy to find the arcade racing games machines in there and in all the other amusement arcades because they all had steering wheels sticking out the front of them. Payback is an arcade race game without a steering wheel . The real racing game machines at amusement arcades that payback claims to be all have wheels. It was a really STUPID decision to leave them out of payback.
