Career Won't Switch Users

So, this has got to be the most infurating bug I can think of. My wife and I both play Need For Speed: Rivals on Xbox One. Since EA in their greater wisdom deemed that splitscreen is not necessary, we have to switch users between races. I'll try to explain this as clearly as I can. When I log on, it shows all of my cars and and the SPs that I have earned. For the game session, it shows my user name in the list of players. Once I'm done, my wife will switch users on the xbox home screen. I go back into Rivals and it will inform me that a username switch has occured and will restart the game. When she opens her career, it shows all of her cars, but my name is in session screen. Whenever she drives around in the world and sets speed records, it records it under my user name. When the XBox home button is pressed, it shows that my wife is logged in. When she reenters the game, it shows her vehicles and SPs, but still records all progress under my name. Restarting the console has no effect. The only way I've seen to fix it is after the console has been off for quite some time, my wife can sign on and progress will be recorded under her name. So, what the actual is going on? I've been on XBox live since 2002, so I'm fairly certain this isn't an error on my part. Any Ideas?

That's good information to know, but is there a fix? I find it odd that with the XBox One making it so easy to switch between accounts that this does not carry over to Need For Speed. Also, restarting the system does not change it. You have to do a cold restart to empty the cache, which takes about 3 minutes, so is that really the only option for my wife and I to play this game together?
