Cars getting scratched from normal, clean driving

Hey I'm enjoying this game so far but one thing that's bugging me is that when I drive around normally to an event or whatever my car seems to develop random scratches/scrapes even though I am not hitting anything or driving offroad etc so when I turn up at a race, my car looks like it has been vandalised or something! Anyone else experiencing this?

@huggings94 Ur not the only one here that hated this I literally can just sit in front of my garage and do burnout and my car would get scratches out of nowhere like where the heck the car scratches came from ?

Or you finish a certain race and instead of stopping in a strait line, the blasted AI turns the car into the wall.

To the rest of you, it's a game. Relax and play no rewards for a clean car. Plus it won't effect the resale value of the car.

@420speedwagon Oh I fully agree with the thread though, I prefer a clean looking car when I'm looking at it. BUT, what these folks don't understand is that it's NOT scratched, it's just dirty. Unbelievably dirty in no time at all.

Which is why I wish we had the option to disable cosmetic damage. It annoys me even more that you can hide body damage with the snapshot editor, but not dirt.

@Icarium81 true. But if I remember, 2015 was like that too. And I think Payback as well. I'd have to play them to see

@huggings94 yah it sucks. Cruise around at the speed limit not hitting a single thing 'n get scratches. Is the rain acid or something?
