Connecting a ps3 to the NFS Network

So I logged on to the nfs network to check out over watch and get a more in-depth experience with a friend, only problem is in the lower left corner it says ps3 not connected yet 5 feet from me my ps...

Yeah same problem with my other friends. The only ones who had Apple devices was able to use it. I only have Android so I had to use the browser since their Android app isn't ready but I really wonder why it says PS3 not connected?
