Product: Need for Speed Heat
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Anytime I try to apply custom text (eg, license plates or text decals), the text prompt will stay open and not apply the text, it will not close, causing me to have to force close the game and restart it.. This is a problem that started when customizing my R34 GTR and has been an issue on all cars now. I have tried restarted many times and even reinstalling the game. It's not a game breaking bug but it's disappointing not being able to use all the customization features in the game I paid for.
What car were you using? R34 GTR but it affects all cars
Was the car your own build or downloaded from the in-game community? Personal Build
What was the last event you played? some story race
Was it a day or a night event? Night Event
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have bad luck like me and simply try and apply custom text to something
What happens when the bug occurs? Game locks to the text prompt and has to be force closed through windows
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to use custom text without any issues

    Hello @EA_Barry, sorry for the late reply, busy weekend, anyways, I had simply been customizing my R34 to try and match my RL R34, it had allowed me to put 'UV' on the right hand side window as a decal, no issues there. I continue to customize the body and get to the license plate, try to put the same plate as my RL one (JF1 92D) and the issue started, I thought it was because I put a space in and tried without the space, same issue, and the issue has been repeating 100% of the time since, on license plates and when applying custom text decals. (Just tried again now and still bugged) I have tried reinstalls and reboots, no success. I have yet to try it on a different computer as I do not have access to one, but if I do get the chance to I will. Thank you again for your help.

    super late here...but...I encountered the same issue and was in search for a solution. I found out that after you press enter to save the text, you have to use the arrow keys to navigate to the 'accept' option to apply the custom text. Hope you still play the game and that this helps, if not, at least this thread provides a solution for anyone else having this issue on PC.
