Hello everyone.
After the January Update, some of you have reported an issue occurring on Xbox, where you are stuck at the title screen saying "Sign in as your username". When in that screen, your controller becomes unresponsive.
After the January Update, some of you have reported an issue occurring on Xbox, where you are stuck at the title screen saying "Sign in as your username". When in that screen, your controller becomes unresponsive.
I know this is a frustrating issue, and we are looking to resolve this as quickly as we can.
Edit/Update: Thank you to everyone for the info give. While we work on this, the following steps should help you get into the game.
Remove any accessories but your primary controller. Even something like a wireless headset can be a factor, so don't leave anything out. Open up your Xbox menu, open Settings > Devices& Streaming > Accessories, and remove everything but your primary controller.
Also some players are having issues with Elite V2 controllers, plugging it in if it's connected wirelessly, or going wireless if it's plugged in should help.
Hi all, while this is being worked on the following steps should get you back in.
- Close game
- Unplug all USB devices
- Connect controller via cable
- Launch game
- On title screen, unplug the controller and turn it back on
We'll mark this as solved purely to show visibility, the base issue persists, but this should at least get people back in.
