Directx error

The game i am trying to get to play is "Need for Speed: The Run". it completes the installation of the game, and then does the directx error:- "Directx Setup Error: The cabinet (.cab) file is not si...

    There are some solutions that fixed the issue in other games titles, but the error message is exactely the same.

    Okay i know what to do now.
     
    You have to go to where your orgin games are. Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games
    
    Then you have to delete the Dead Space folder.
    
    Then relog origin or log in.
    
    Redownload dead space 3 and install.
     
    That's how i got my dead space 3 working.
    

     

    Go to http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8109 [microsoft.com] and download. 

    When it asks you where to put the files put the files in "C:\Program Files\Origin Games\game_title\__Installer\directx\redist".
    After that, retry to further install the game. If this doesn't work go to C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Game_Title\__Installer\directx\redist and delete every .cab file. Don't delete the .dll's and .exe.
