DirectX Error

Edit: After 4 weeks I still cant run it, tried everything. Basically Wasted 60 euro buying this, especially since I can no longer refund because of the * return policy... Hi, I've bought NFS Payb...

OK, so I kind of have the same issue, but it's not that bad for me.

My dxdiag:

The game is loading fine and i can play at least 4+ hours till the error comes up.

The error appears asap though, once i get in the garage and try to customize some specific car parts like spoilers and exhausts and not on every car, just some random ones, but always on the Buick GNX!!! Hilarious and annoying at the same time! It freezes for a few secs and then black screen followed by the error message...

I 've too tried almost everything mentioned at OP and even more from searching around the net and it still persists.

In the scrs attached you can see the different forms it manifests to me, in relation to what i try to customize and/or the gpu driver i have at that moment.

* I did clean installs of the gpu drivers every single time, but no luck there anyway.

If the issue is only occurring with one specific car for you then it is probably worthwhile right clicking and Repairing the game in Origin.

Try that and let us know your results here, thanks.

  Barry i 've done that 3 times allready, the game files are ok, but no luck with the error.

    Right click and run the following as an Administrator:
    
    Origin Games\Need for Speed Payback\__Installer\directx\redist\DXSETUP.exe
    
    Origin Games\Need for Speed Payback\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x64.exe
    
    Origin Games\Need for Speed Payback\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x86.exe
    
    Origin Games\Need for Speed Payback\__Installer\vc\vc2015\redist\vc_redist.x64.exe
    
    Also, as above, if you are running TeamViewer, it will be worthwhile to try the game with out that.
