DirectX function error Need For speed Heat
I've spent 3 days trying to fix this error and i'm losing my fkn mind honestly.
The games been working find and suddenly it stopped launching saying :
DirextX function "m_swapChain->ResizeBuffers(swapchain.Desc.BufferCount,
m_info.windowWidth,m_info.windowHeight, m_outputMode.Format,swapChainDesc.Flags)
"failed with E_invalidArg("An invalid parameter was passed to the rerutning function.")
GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070",Driver: 53118
i have tried absolutely EVERYTHING listed in similar threads including;
Updating all drivers. trying old drivers, disconnecting monitors, launching in clean boot, reinstalling the game, changing NVidia settings, changing MSI settings, changing 3d settings. disabling overlays. etc.
For the love of god someone Please Help me.........
all the videos on Youtube are useless.☹️
Can we try the following steps, when you have a moment?
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
- Steam - Verify in your library
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings
- Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for NFS: Heat
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
