Do i have to pay for a membership just to play the game ?

So I got the game, played it for a couple days, trial ran out and wants me to pay for a membership just to play the game.. is this the only way to play ?
  • @kyle_ess07,

You are still able to play the single player function. While Need for Speed is a connected game, you can race alone. If you want to race with friends or other players, you will need a subscription.

Okay thanks for your reply , so after I log into the game and connect to the ea network I am seeing a screen layout that says play, snapshots, daily challenges and all that. I've been just going into play and doing all the missions am I able to do this offline somehow ? Because when I click play it says I need a membership

If you haven't paid for PSN or Live, you are limited.
I do believe NFS2015 Requires online.
Their is no game subscription requirements other then being a Psn or Live member so you can keep the game up to date & Valid

Thanks for the update, and sorry for any confusion.

You do need an active XB Live or PSN account. However, you do not need the Gold or + versions, which are the ones that cost money.
