Does anyone still play Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit online? [PC]

Anyone know if the servers are still online? I was thinking of getting a bunch of my friends to get this game, but don't want to risk getting it when the servers are down.

The servers are up and people are playing online daily, more on the weekends 🙂

I would like to play as well.. What about Nfs III? But in this game was no chance to play via public server, I think..
