EA Account (Nintendo Switch version)

Is it possible to import friends from Origin/EA Desktop? As a matter of fact, is it possible to login to your own EA account in the Nintendo Switch version? Ot seems to link to the myNintendo account, but I wish there were someway to link that to EA Desktop app.

    With several titles already out on the system (Burnout Paradise/Need for Speed, and soon Apex), I find it odd that I could not import friends from the Nintendo account, and likewise, I can't seem to link my Nintendo EA game profile to my Origin/EA Account. I find this quite odd.
