EA owes everybody a refund!

Lets start from the beginning. The game was released and EA said: "We won't have wheel support at release time." OK, that does imply that you are working on it and shortly after release you plan on adding this feature. Two patches later, nothing. No mention of it, nothing. The game was released in Beta condition, and I'm being generous calling this mess a Beta. Most of the promised features are still not functional, some of the PS4 players can't even update to the 1.5 patch. That of course, says EA, is not their problem. Well, yes it is. This is your product, you released it, not Sony.

And how about Ghost Games? Since 2013 you have been involved with Need for Speed. OK, NFS Rivals was started by Criterion and you finished it. It pretty much sucked, no wheel support and buggy. The next one was all yours, NFS 2015, the re-boot of the series. Meh, lukewarm at best, but it had wheel support and you could upgrade the car and customize it reasonably well. Then came NFS Payback, no wheel support at launch, but by Christmas we had wheel support. The game was also, meh, horrible upgrade system for the cars. Now, here we are, two years later, same game engine, still Ghost Games, NFS Heat. It's going to be the best of the best, all the things we ever waited for, 25 year anniversary for the NFS series, this is going to be great, right? Wrong! What happened? Did you guys forget how to code your own game? This your baby, you can't blame anybody but yourself for this mess. I'm sure EA pressured you to release it, but come on guys! Just stay away from racing games, your really not good at it.

What really is upsetting is the fact that we all purchase games to have fun, not getting upset because it doesn't work the way we were promised. I don't know about everybody out there, but I have a limited amount of time for gaming. I work for a living, other gamers work as well or go to school. I think everybody has to limit the time they have for gaming. Time is the most valuable commodity we have and both EA and Ghost Games are stealing it. Yeah, you heard right, stealing. If you purposely release a product unfinished without telling your customers and then ask us to help you fix it, for free of course, that is stealing. That is exactly what EA did. Push an unfinished, buggy mess out the door.

I have purchased games that were not finished, like Assetta Corsa, and knew it wasn't finished. That game was in a lot better condition then this. It didn't have all the features working yet, you didn't have all the cars and tracks, but it was playable. I purchased it at a pre-release price that was less then half of the finished product. Once the game was completed you received the complete released game. That's how it's done.

EA decided to release a pre-release version and we should only be charged what it's worth. I don't think the standard version is worth more than $19.99 and the "Deluxe" version $29.99, and that would be considering that you will actually finish the game. In it's current condition it's junk. I will uninstall as soon as I'm done here and won't even look at until they release a patch or patches that bring the game to a playable, fun product. The game they promised us. In the mean time, EA, I think we all deserve a refund.

To everybody out there, leave some feedback on this, tell us and EA how you feel. We've been lied to and taken advantage of. Make some noise, let's let them know what we think.

Yeah don't let that guy stir you up.

That guy does that to most of the people on these forums.

Best advice just ignore that guy

gdbuz1. He likes to stir people's comments.

    Absolutely right!

I had seen many MMORPGs become dead shortly after release once people found out these games were pay2win cash grabs.

    People are smart! 😃

  • @EA_Darko Yeah, that's the way to answer all the issues brought forth.... just ban more people from the forums. Seems to be the only thing you guys actually do around here.
