EA saying my only account doesn't own NFS Unbound

None of the self help icons have helped, I bought NFS UNBOUND a few days ago on steam and saw i had to download it in steam and have it shown in the ES app after wards. It has been working fine but once I tried opening it today through steam and EA, it said my account doesn't have permission to play the game, even though I only have one account and it's the one I have been playing the game on the whole time. Any idea how to fix? I've restarted and log out log back in, nothing worked.
