This problem I have not had with shifting in the game, it could be an isolated event for you.
I have been on forums a while and have not read any complaints thus far about shifting lag problems!
It could be your PC is running allot of background programs slowing your pc down.
It could also be your antivirus slowing you down.
Check your Internet Speed and run a online test.
Also it could be your in a game event with others and the connection in the lobby is bad.
There are many reasons why this kind of slow lag happens in games...but when it happens I just do the best i can in the event.
