Fix the traffic!!!
I guess it is not so much to say here except this: playing any event in night time is a nightmare in the worst way to say because traffic in this game is driven by a unpolished AI!!!

What's so special about my gameplay hours? I think I had more than 10.000h on NFS MW 2005 when servers were closed... and I don't think I was the only one.
The thing is I have enough experience to say that NFS heat has a traffic issue.
It does, and as I said in TC2, there's a simple easy solution to fixing it. Increase the traffic spawn distance = No more issues with random - in your face spawns.
Here's the settings that I use in TDU2:
Edit:
- Max Vehicle Count = 40
- Max Traffic Count = 40
- Parked Cars = 10
- Physics Max Count = 10
Culling Config
- 1st Radius = 10,000, 2nd Radius = 15,000 (testing this one, usually 30,000), FOV (Field of view) = 100,000
Spawn Distances
- Min Spawn Distance = 12,000, Max Spawn Distance = 100,000
This is probably considered a bit extreme, but to me it makes traffic feel more realistic.
There is no .cfg file for AI traffic in this game... and for most games in the last 10 years.
That's not surprising, however the key fix remains the same.
Every ai setting, even in current games, has a minimum and maximum spawn distance, thus Increasing the minimum spawn distance of traffic will prevent them from spawning so close. Of course it goes without saying that increasing the minimum distance means also increasing the maximum distance.
