For anyone having stuttering problems

@Sjonny30 now thats horrible. Maybe I said it wrong. Its not actualy a fix for the game itself but it makes at least my game run smoothly. Ive had stuttering issuses but not that horrible audio bug. Ofcourse the game should be fixed by the developers, but from my past nfs experience this will never happen. This solution will probably not work for everyone, but it works on my system, and if even one fellow player gets a smooth experience with these workarounds then im happy

@Sjonny30 aggree ghost should patch up the game to make it run smoothly without all these tweaks. Its been a problem ever since they have started using the frostbite engine. I believe there is no excuse since the visuals (altho stunning in some areas) are still subpar compared to forza horizon 4, and that game runs butter smooth out of the box (as every racing game should if we pay for it). I havent seen a pc run this game (nor payback for that matter) smoothly without tweaking and even then the shaky camera makes it feel non fluid

I am on the Xbox One X and the game is acting wacky today. Many stuttering and freezing issues when loading the game. Also, when I sell a car, the money disappears when getting out of the garage or enter back into the garage. When loading the game, the music in the background would cut off and on.

@DreamMachines are you playing online? I have this game on my pc and on ps4 pro aswell and i noticed sometimes playing online on the console the stuttering you described happens. Playing solo is flawless tho (if you dont think about the 30fps framerate cap)

The problem I am having is from the beginning of loading the game. The problem starts with "Play as DreamMachines A". When I click on the "A" button on the Xbox One X controller, the loading screen is frozen for like 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the loading screen continues to load but with no sound.

Once I get to the menu screen of "PLAY ONLINE" or "PLAY SOLO". If I click on the "PLAY SOLO" option, I get frozen AGAIN on the loading screen where you see the red loading bar at the bottom of the screen for about 5 minutes. Then I get a popup screen saying "CONNECTION LOST" and click "A". The question is why is the connection to EA server is lost during the login process? I have tried about 40 times to log into the game and I get the same result. They need to fix the connection to EA server during the initial login process to start the game. I was trying to figure out if there was a way to RESET the game so it would start more smoothly.

If I click on the "PLAY ONLINE" option, I get frozen AGAIN on the loading screen where you see the red loading bar at the bottom of the screen for about 5 minutes, I get a popup screen saying "DISCONNECTED FROM SESSION" and click "A". Then I get a screen with black background and with just all the white lights. The car and menu do not show up at all, just the black background with white lights. I see the 3 bottom buttons for SELECT, ACCESSIBILITY, and PARTY. On the top-right of the black screen, I see a white car icon, 0 and a $ icon with no money at all. Basically, I can't even play online anymore. The black screen is frozen forever and I must quit the game.

I played yesterday for about 4 hours online and maybe playing online for too long causes the game to not function correctly. Especially loading the game up from the beginning. At this moment, this game is pretty messed up and not working properly. Hopefully, they will fix this game.

Caution, if the game is NOT connected to the EA server, don't play the game because all your money and everything will not be saved the next time you start the game.

@DreamMachinesnow thats sad, buying a game and having problems such as you are experiencing on a CONSOLE?! ghost games needs to get their optimisations straight and not release half baked products, and then never fixing them.

@BLVD69couldnt agree more, this was just a workaround thet worked for me hope it helps anyone while the developers take their time to patch this thing (if they ever Will). 

tried the game on 2 more computers one high end (9900k, 2080ti) and mid tier (1600x ryzen, gtx1660ti), and both experience same issuses. How can they release a game in this state
