For some reason I can't start playing without Xbox Live Gold membership.
Today I've bought this game on my Xbox One and tried to start a game. However, I couldn't start playing in singleplayer because after skipping through the Xbox Live Gold subscription ad and declining it, all that is appearing is " A internal error occured. Please try Again". However, after putting in code for 2-day trial of Xbox Live Gold (just to check a theory), the game started.
Could someone answer me why? It is clearly stated in the official FAQ that I don't need Xbox Live Gold to play singleplayer, only connection to the internet, then why suddenly I can't play without it? Is this some kind of bug which needs to be fixed? I hope so, if not it will be a clear sign of lying to your customers.
I don't want to be forced to buy a membership (for me completely useless since I don't play multiplayer) just to play a game which I was told many times I could play alone without any problems. I just want to play singleplayer. How can I do it? Maybe there is an option I just don't see? Could someone help me?

Hmm, I've searched the magical depths of the internet and it seems it is a bug caused by this new dashboard. If it is I hope the'll fix it soon.
Admin edit: An update to Need for Speed and Xbox have since resolved this issue.
