Force feedback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where the * is the force feedback option in the game?

https://help.ea.com/en/article/wheel-support-and-manual-transmission-in-need-for-speed/

Here it even says that I should be able to change it!!!

"

In addition to customizing your racing wheel control scheme, you can adjust these settings:

  • Force Feedback Strength  - This setting determines the strength of your wheel or control's force feedback, or vibration, effects. 0% means no feedback while 100% is the strongest feedback possible."

They have said lots of things that aren't a thing... They actually changed their post about being able to map individual gears after I posted on their facebook about it... And the wheel support (from what I've read) is terrible, even for supported wheels... People having to accelerate with their clutch, not being able to map ANY keys, small rotation, etc...

Losing faith, unless one of the updates addresses at least SOME of these things...

  • I have the same problem talked to them on help.ea.com he couldnt help me at all.

whenever i accelerate the wheel goes all over the place with a lot of force. after 25 hours of playing i think i feel the need, the need to go to a doctor to get my shoulder checked.

if they will ever patch this i already completed the game by the time they do. EA just proves being complete * in making games.

After never buying anything from ubi i also decided that EA goes on my blacklist

  • Actually it's not EA that fu**ed things up, it was Ghost, the same development team, that messed up rivals before, EA is the publisher, so the ones, who failed again (well to at least 90%) is Ghost. Anyway yeah the Force feedback is *, i think they ain't gonna change that. It would mean they actually have to work and do something.

This actually isn't true at all. I played with G27 (tho it's not my wheel unfortunately). It works perfectly. You don't have to accelerate with clutch well if you config it with your clutch then sure. Those idiots who told you that they accelerate with clutch must've thought "throttle" was clutch or something. All those things you said about wheel is false. You can map ALL keys on your wheel. You accelerate with your gas pedal and you brake with your brake pedal. You can modify EVERYTHING on your wheel. Oh also Wheel support is SOOOO TERRIBLE that i can play with the wheel that is not even mentioned in "wheel support". This game's wheel support is awesome and stop bashing it without testing it. I play NFS 2015 with Logitech formula vibration feedback wheel and the game recognizes it properly. All buttons on my wheel can be customized in game. There is nothing weird or working wrong like you mentioned it does. Only thing that is missing is manual H shifter.
PS: You can configure force feedback, vibration strength, wheel rotation lock (i locked G27 wheel lock to 360 degrees for drifting sessions and 180 for grip sessions) and all other stuff. You don't do it in game you do it in wheel profiler.

What you need to do is go check your thinking. You're not thinking. If you feel the games feedback is strong why didn't you go to the profiler and TURN DOWN feedback strength? Has it even FOR ONE SECOND occurred to you "Oh daayum feedback is too strong i'm going to lower it to the spot i prefer it to feedback"??? Of course not! I'll just complain how stuff doesn't work even tho i didn't bother to configure it.
IF you did some research you'd realize that most games (excluding some advanced serious sim racers) actually just MODIFY things you can do with your profiler. Actually it MODIFIES the profiler. You know there's an option "let the game decide settings"....?
Some people today seriously will just whine and sit instead of figure out what's wrong and why is it wrong.

Force Feedback is a function that we aimed at implementing at launch but will now instead be added at a later stage.

If you have any problems with your controls, wheel or controller then be sure to check out our dedicated topic on the subject:

Lastly, I detect a lot of hatred in this topic so I will close it from further discussion.
