Frame Rate Drops in NFS Most Wanted PC

I'm wondering if this is normal... my frame rate drops to the low 20s sometimes evecn 15 in certain scenes but usually stays around 25-35 and in some areas goes up to 60fps

Yep, same issue, here. I specifically bought this for the PC because I'd heard how much better it was than on console, but I am currently regretting my decision. It is unplayable. What's odd is it . . . isn't *quite* lag. I mean, it's not stuttering or hitching or warping. It's not what you normally expect when seeing poor performance. Instead, it has this weord give to the control that makes it feel like you're driving in molasses and it has this terrible rubber-bandy-driving thing. Cut-scenes will be 60fps, then play will be 40 or 50fps, then suddenly lock itself at 30fps. It's unfortunate if we're two weeks after release and the response is still "please send us dxdiags" for such a show-stopping issue.
I'm playing this on:
Windows 7 x64
I7-3770K
ASUS P8Z77-WS w/ BIOS v703
16GB RAM
Samsung 830 256GB SSD
2 x GTX 670 (4GB version) with latest release drivers as well as latest beta drivers (310.33 / 310.54)
Playing it with everything maxed at 2560x1600. Same problem even at 1920x1200.

DxDiags posted are already being analyzed by the team. Initially we needed 10 reports but as long as this investigation is in progress there is no contraindication on keep posting additional reports if you want. However we can confirm that the team has now the required information.
trickeh2k. Issues posted here in the forum have been notified and reported. The development team may intervene here in the forum and post some messages, time to time, however most of the time the community team will relay the different updates and information.
We would like to thank the entire community for sharing information, tips or details on what they noticed on the different topics (not just only in this thread). I also want to thank players who provided their DxDiag for the development team.
We will make sure to update topics/threads as soon as we have more information.You tell us, that you tested NFS MW on ANY machine with SLI or single GPU and the game ran smooth 60fps??? There was no problems? Or game ran like now and you released game anyway? this game is unplayable now. with any settings!how could you release game like this with no optimalization for 40-50€?
