Frame Rate Drops in NFS Most Wanted PC

I'm wondering if this is normal... my frame rate drops to the low 20s sometimes evecn 15 in certain scenes but usually stays around 25-35 and in some areas goes up to 60fps

Also seeing stuttering and framerate drops here. The game runs at 60fps outside of the city. But pretty much anywhere in the city it drops down to 30-40fps. Also I have SLI video cards, but the game only utilizes a single GPU. So it's clearly not taking advantage of all the power my PC has. My PC exceeds the recommended requirements as well.

Could anyone from EA or Criterion tell us what's the release date for the patch???
The game is great, but it stutters heavily and I just want to play it smooth on ultra setting as BF3 and any previous NFS (HP, Shift 2, and The Run) I have......
Even the run was better optimized than this...
