Frame Rate Drops in NFS Most Wanted PC

I'm wondering if this is normal... my frame rate drops to the low 20s sometimes evecn 15 in certain scenes but usually stays around 25-35 and in some areas goes up to 60fps

launch update, fix suttering
First off, I am really enjoying the game, and thanks for the update, eanajat.
However, i'm also getting framerate drops and stuttering. I can get a constant 60fps at 1920x1080 outside the city, but it drops to around 40 and stutters badly in the cities, even on all lowest settings.
And it's unplayable in triple screen at 6080x1080 as it seems to be stuck at 30fps no matter what setting i use.
I have all the latest drivers and my pc is probably one of the fastest out there abd even i cant run it smoothly?
I'll add dx diag when i get home.

Hey all. I wanna share my opinion with, i think that this is very common these days with PC games not running so well i have very powerfull PC like the most of the guys here and this is the third game that have problems with shuttering and.......... When companies like MS and PS are gonna realize that they are stucking us in 10 years ago when Xbox 360 and PS3 came out at the market we can't play our favourite games like we should be play them. I think it's all there foult for this what is happening to this generation of games for PC it's easy to make game for console and turn it back to PC version!!!

I receive stuttering badly in the city area.

GTX580
7200rpm HDD
and onboard sound.
I found if I turn down shadows to low and headlights off, it help.
I think it is amazing that consoles that are nowhere near as powerful as some of the PCs on this thread, can play this game and others with lots of stuttering. I guess it can't be easy though with the numerous different PC specs out there.
