Just after 1.5 update I hoped to see this gone by now but nope. I know you guys deleted my last post complaining about this but this update didn't fix it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26r6Q_EU3x4 here is proof. Please fix this cause people can literally go deaf! And again stop ignoring me.
Sorry that this still persists.
Can I check what your audio setup is?
Also, can you try wiping your local settings and see if anything changes. You can delete both files at My Documents\Need for Speed Heat\settings to do so.
This should cause fresh settings to be created from a template but please make a backup of the files, just to be sure nothing goes wrong.
- 7 years ago@EA_David I use my motherboard onboard audio. I have an Asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0 motherboard. This problem happens often on launch for me but not randomly inside the game. I use the onboard audio for microphone and headphone. But that is just my main pc I have another PC where the problem happens. (it also has an Asrock motherboard) But I use that PC with a TV via HDMI and have the audio come from the TV so GPU audio is used. Before update 1.5 only the character voices got insanely loud but now the background noise too as can be heard in the video. (sorry that there is no video, OBS didn't pickup the game which is also a problem I have). I haven't deleted my settings folder yet because I was angry and deleted the whole game. My main PC has FX 6300, 8gb RAM and GTX 1050Ti. PC connected to the TV has Ryzen 5 2600x with 16gb RAM and GTX 770 (2gb vram). Both GPU's are overclock with msi afterburner and have the game locked to 30fps with rivatuner since the game stutters. I hope that I have provided you enough information.
- 7 years ago@EA_David I have had it today again and I think it happens whenever I install new graphics cards drivers or change up some GPU related things. I am not 100% sure if this is it. I also have spammed a few buttons on my controller during loadscreens in the game thinking that it would trigger something but I am also not 100% sure about that.

@EA_David I don't know if you need it but here you go. Good luck finding the problem! 🤞

Thanks for the info provided. Can I check if you've tried removing/disabling rivatuner at any point, and if that had an effect.
