I'd had this problem for awhile now. When I updated my Nvidia driver to version 320.18, it downloaded and installed a program called Nvidia Geforce Experience. From there, I could optimize my games etc, so I tried optimizing Most Wanted. I have tested it only once, but after optimizing it, I tried a low resolution and a high resolution, and both worked fine. Tried a Most Wanted Race twice, both on different Resolutions.
1) My first race was using a 1280x760 or 720 (Forgot what it was) and the gameplay was very smooth, the loading screen of the race didn't lag at all, neither crashed.
2) Second race was using the 1920x1080 Resolution (This is what I was using when the races would crash). After optimizing it, the loading screen still lagged, but the race worked fine.
