well the grind is good separates those that work hard from those that just play here and there u shold be matched against people that only play this casualy as well but u must understand hardcore players also need something to grind towards or we play game 1 day and we done whith it cuz u might play 1 hour a week on weekends but some people play 16 hours a day so they make more progress in 1 week then you make in 1 year the grind is needed now the lack of a open world online free roam is what destroyed the hype
and using lobby as excuse to freeroam is lame why am i gona buy game to get online acess if its limited to 8 people and that is if they all agree not to hit the ready button and stay in the lobby waiting for the race to start
Having to grind or buy micro transactions in SP is ridiculous (not using the word I’d like to use).

I noticed some grinding too during my playthrough but it was nowhere near as bad like The Crew was. Unfortunately the campaign was way too short for my taste, only 5 races for each league? Majority of the short campaign spent on the completely ridiculous "criminal syndicate taking over the world by driving cars" - storyline instead of actual racing? Only two classes out of 4 used in the final race?
Ghost is very slowly building up to the great arcade racer this game and franchise has potential to be but at this rate it will be two or even three more installments out and EA will pull the plug on the studio long before that happens.
