Game won't "end"
I bought this game on Steam, and it was fine for the first few times I played it, but now it refuses to "end" properly. The game window closes, but Steam and Origin both still show it as being open. There's no process in the Task Manager to force close, and even exiting Origin and force-closing Steam doesn't end it. Re-opening Steam just shows the process still listed as running, which means I can't relaunch the game to play it. The only way I was able to do anything with it was to uninstall the game and re-install it (at which point it did the same thing again after playing), which I seriously don't want to do every time I play the game. If there's some way to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Until you get the issue sorted, just reboot instead of reinstalling the game.
It is possible your antivirus software is "holding onto" the game.
Try temporarily disabling your antivirus software and then perform a clean boot before playing.
