Thanks but i don't need help anymore I put in a case file earlier and had an EA rep call me. They had me go into settings then account management then restore the licenses. After that was done they had me turn off my system. Once it was off they had me hold the power button tol it beeped 3 times and put it into safe mode and the head me rebuild my database and i was good after that. Im able to connect now fine.

And looks like I'm eating my word because I'm submitting a car file with EA for the SECOND time today. Now I'm getting error code DR1005 and unlike my previous issue with the error code DR1001 where i could play by myself but not in party with friends, now with error code DR1005 I can't play at all. The server didn't crash or shut down on us this time we left when the message popped up on the screen saying the server was shutting down. Im at the point that when this EA rep calls after waiting the 1.5-2.5 hr wait time that i'm probably going to ask for my money back credited to my account because this is ridiculous.

Can you tell me how many cars you have? I've seen some others say that this happens when you have more than 100 cars.

  Having more than 100 cars shouldn't be a problem, it needs to be fixed!

    I definitely understand the frustration with this. Is it at all possible to remove enough cars to get under a 100 to see if the error is resolved?
