Like how EA made Play Alone an option for Need for speed 2015, can't they just add it in the options to make cops appear in free roam? If they do that, then they can satisfy most players, as players who don't like cops in free roam can set it as cop free, while those who loves having cops in the streets can put the setting for cops to appear, and by how randomly they will appear. Ghost Games doesn't have to make it so complicated, but most players by now know how to change settings, so having an option and letting players choose the density would make it better. Also, to those used to the old Need for Speed games with pursuit chases, letting the players choose the option of how to run and end a pursuit should top it.
Example: returning palyers,
cops in free roam: Yes
cops density: normal
pursuit style: outrun
for some players
cops in free roam: no
(cops density🙂
pursuit style: new system/checkpoint
Some complained that it is hard, so letting the players choose if they do or do not want to, instead of making everyone get the same thing should not be hard.
I hope EA and Ghost Games read through this thread. I would LOVE to have free roam cops, patrolling the streets. Add an option where people can turn on free-roam cops or off (for those that do not want free-roam cops).
