I tried overriding the settings through my Graphics card settings anti alising to 16X and every thing yet resulotion seems to be a little off compared to other videos ive seen on youtube

Turn on TAA in game (will make it blurry, don't worry) and, if you got a good rig, try this:

Open notepad, create a file with that line in it:

    Render.ResolutionScale 1.3000000

Save it as User.cfg and move the file to your game install folder (Default: C:\Program Files (X86)\Origin Games\Need For Speed).

Quality will be way better provided your PC can handle it. You can up the value to 2.0000000 if you have a beast of a rig.

  • Hi,
do you have this problem in any other games?
I once had something like that in NFSU2 and Shift 2 and it was a driver issue. Try clean graphic drivers installation, especially if you have AMD graphics card.

There was a similar topic on the Need for Speed boards a while ago where a user had a similar issue. Doing a clean driver install and changing your GPU Control Panel settings (the exact settings might differ per system) should resolve this.
