NFS Payback is one of the best games I've played, bu I'm not gonna play it at least for a month because of the third Hazard Company race. This race is pure BS. Nothing else...

I've been hating all the off-road series since day one. It just seems like the vehicle is constantly out of my control and I can't figure out how to beat the races.
I've had no problem beating any other races in the game. I can always beat them under like 5-10 tries. However for every off-road race, especially the Holtzman ones, I repeatedly failed on the same races for so many times that I cannot continue playing and it feels like a complete waste of time. My vehicle is a maxed out, level 399 BMW X6, I play the game on medium difficulty. I'm like 50 lvls above the recommended car level, but somehow it just feels impossible for me to beat the races.
I repeated the junk track for like 50+ time to finally get through it, only to find myself stuck again on the next race. After spending countless money on this maximum level car, hoping to beat the series with it, I really don't know what else I am supposed to do to get me through this.
I use a maxed out 65 Mustang and it seems pretty easy to me. I have to anticipate the slide/drift of the turns and don't let off the throttle...just pop the brakes going in to slide the back end a bit...maybe need a bit of counter steer...never let off the throttle unless I'm headed off track...played with the live tuning, adjusting the grip strength to keep the rear end under the car a bit better...and anticipate the corners...and remember that I only have to get under those checkpoint hoops, I don't have to actually follow the road...just my way of doing things...maybe it will help a bit.
Just knock them off the road and you win.
