HELP!! Cant complete the Outlaws rush

Its impossible to complete chap 6, the outlaws rush! I complete the first race but cant win the offroad race even with 399 Fairlady. I did try different cards but cant make it faster. Also if i com...

you play on easy difficulty? 

I'm not the best driver and had little difficulty doing the three stage race at the end.
