@Shinare73 i think you may have fallen into the trap of upgrading the wrong car too early, the skyline bnr32 reaches 769pr which is enough to complete chapter 14 to get the viper bp's and if memory serves you dont need legendary parts to max out any of the classic sports cars
the other thing you could try is to scrap any stored materials/parts and purchase legendary parts from the chop shop to upgrade the porsche to a high enough pr to complete ch14 and unlock the viper
but you dont need to spend real cash

I took your advise and started dumping all my extra parts into the skyline bnr32. I should have googled first. The chapter 14 final race requires 779 PR. the bnr32 only goes up to 769.
Well, if I wasn't completely screwed before, I am now. I wasted all my spare parts on that car and it still wont get me to the race.
RIP this game.

@Shinare73 sorry about that, its been a long time since i completed campaign mode, but as you had said in your post you needed 762pr i thought you was already at the last race of ch14 and that was the pr you needed to reach for the final race, the other option of purchasing parts for the porsche from the chop shop with scrap points is still valid though

Hi,
Thanks for your efforts anyway, I really do appreciate the replies. Just for clarity sake, for future people who get into my situation with the carrera 911, the parts you can purchase in the chop shop are the parts I already have on my car, which require the legendary materials to advance (7 star parts with 5 stars filled in). You can not purchase legendary materials except for in the black market, which to do so must be unlocked by spending real money in the game's store to earn "VIP" points. The other way to get the legendary materials is to unlock a viper, which you have to finish races you can not finish without the legendary materials.
There is no way I am starting all over again with another car after dumping months worth of materials, parts, in game cash, and time racing the same race over and over hundreds (yes hundreds) of times into a car only to realize it can not continue in the game. Its obvious that the developers of this game quite clearly and methodically planned out every aspect of this game to force you to eventually need to pay money to continue playing past a certain point. That kind of mentality gets no reward in my book. They've already gotten their ad revenue out of me for watching countless ads to rush timers, advance parts in the black market, etc.
I see no need to continue to play the game and to continue to reward them for this.
I will uninstall the game as from this point forward it's just eating space on my phone. A shame really, because up until this point, I was enjoying playing it, and paying for it by watching all the ads. I will also remember this the next time I think I might want to start playing another EA game so I do not waste months of time only to get stuck behind another pay to win wall.
