Hiding Spots for Racers
As many racers in this game may know, the Police AI tend to start pursuits with you even when you’re not doing anything wrong, and without a pause button in Singleplayer mode, it was very risky to leave the game running, as your points could and would eventually be taken away from you while you’re gone.
Well, I’ve found a bunch of spots where you can park your car without the AI ruining your day!
WARNING: If you are already in a pursuit, these spots will NOT help you, as all the AI are still aware of your location while the “Escaping” bar is filling.
These spots aren't a surefire way of hiding from players at all, as they can always see you on the map.
SIDE NOTE #1: No screenshots yet, as I’m not playing on PC, and I don’t have any capture equipment for my XB360. I could take some pictures of the TV screen if you want, or some people could send me some images of the hiding spots. Let me know!
SIDE NOTE #2: Of all the spots I found, this list only includes the ones that I've tested and have not failed. If you have found any other hiding spots, or if any of the spots don’t work, let me know so I can remove them!
DRIFTWOOD HEIGHTS:
-Behind Lighthouse West of starting Hideout on Driftwood Heights
-Jump shortcut going East on Driftwood Heights (Party Crasher Jump)
EASTWOOD RISE:
-Offroad shortcut to the West of the wooden bridge on Eastwood Rise
-Offroad Shortcut Southwest of Wooden Bridge on Eastwood Rise
-Offroad Shortcut West of Time Trial “Redline” (Turn to the left to find it)
-At the barrier of inaccessible unfinished Bridge on Eastwood Rise (Right near Dead Stop Speed Zone)
-Pipes North of the Hideout inbetween Eastwood Rise and Interstate 4
LAGUNA RISE:
-Offroad section at Northeast half of S-curve on Laguna Rise “Pacific Woods Picnic Grounds”
GRAPEVINE DRIVE:
-Bridge connecting buildings, enter to the left of the jump over the underground parking lot
-At the top of the inside spiral in Power Plant on Grapevine Drive
-Southeast of Power Plant on Grapevine Drive
-Offroad trail to the South of the intersection of Grapevine Drive and Sunset Tunnel
LAST STALLION RANCH:
-Field shortcut in the middle straightaway of Last Stallion Ranch (Go behind one of the buildings)
-Behind Hideout in Last Stallion Ranch
INTERSTATE 4:
-Under the pipe behind the Repair Station East of Troll Pass
-Behind Hideout on Mid-South Interstate 4
-Jump Shortcut West of Hideout on Interstate 4 (Inbetween the Time Trial “Push It” and the Interceptor “Escape Velocity”)
RIVERSIDE DRIVE:
-Unmarked Jump shortcut after cave (Entrance faces North)
-Middle of cave on Riverside Drive (Face Northwest)
BASE POINT DRIVE:
-Behind the West satellite near the East Hideout of Base Point Drive
GRAND PEAK DRIVE:
-Jump shortcut on Southwest corner of Grand Peak Drive
PACIFIC WOODS:
-Offroad shortcut Northeast of Pacific Woods Hideout (Approach from the East!)
SUN VALLEY RUN:
-Southwest route of South straightaway on Sun Valley Run
-Salt Flat in Sun Valley Run
-On top of bridge in Sun Valley Run (Facing Northeast)
FORK TONGUE TRAIL:
-Behind the small house at the North of Fork Tongue Trail
-Near ruins on the other side of the small house
Offroad huge “Desert Precipiece jump shortcut (Park away from the lip of the ramp)
DEAD TREE CANYON:
-Behind hideout in Dead Tree Canyon + Behind East-facing jump
-Dirt roundabout around large rock in Dead Tree Canyon
