NFSMW (2012) When playing a multiplayer- friends game Player voices cannot be heard. All game sounds are Ok, just the conversations between players that cannot be heard. This started about two weeks ago.
There is a setting to "unmute" players but it cannot be changed.
There were no windows 11 updates at that time.
Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions to fix.?

haven't tried any other franchise games. I have 3 other titles but their multiplayer servers have already been shut down. Reluctant to purchase a new title just to test this issue.
This game (NFSMW) has worked well for several years but suddenly stopped voice comms on mine and 2 other friends at the same time so is not an individual computer setting issue.
Would appreciate if anybody can confirm they can still converse with other players in any form of multiplayer, This would at least confirm it is not a game server issue.
